Golf:  Resident in Carnoustie, Angus Scotland a five minute walk from the Championship Golf Course hailed by many as the greatest and most difficult golf course in the world.  The Open Championship was won there by Tommy Armour (1931), Henry Cotton (1937), Ben Hogan (1953), Gary Player (1968) and Tom Watson (1975) and a new name will be added to this great list in July this year (1999) when the Open returns again.  I play this course every week but they still call it recreation !
I'm also on the Committee of the Carnoustie Golf Club established in 1842, the oldest artisan golf club in the world:  No snobs or airs and graces here; just traditional Scottish fraternity and equality.
